Simon began his career in education as a teacher and now has over 30 years in professional recruitment. He built an outstanding track record with one of the world’s largest staffing firms, recruiting finance professionals in London and later leading high-performing recruitment and executive search teams across a diverse client base.
After relocating to the Midlands, Simon established and grew a regional Executive Search function and was appointed Managing Director of Page Executive in 2013. He was also proud to be named REC UK Headhunter of the Year in 2010. Under his leadership, the business more than doubled in size - giving Simon unrivalled insight into how employers assess CVs, interviews, and candidate potential.
In 2014, Simon founded Grays Search and Selection, working with leading brands, SMEs, public sector organisations, and charities. He has recruited extensively at executive and board level, developing a deep understanding of how shortlisting, interviews, and final hiring decisions are really made.

Kirsty is Head of Research at Grays Search & Selection and also delivers assignments across junior and mid-management, roles. Working across both candidate identification and recruitment delivery, she plays a central role in managing search processes, building talent pipelines, and supporting clients in securing high-quality talent across a range of sectors and functions.
Kirsty combines executive search research capability with hands-on recruitment delivery experience, providing clients with a highly organised and insight-driven approach to talent acquisition. Her responsibilities include market mapping, candidate engagement, shortlist development, interview coordination, and end-to-end management of junior to mid-level recruitment processes.
She began her career as a graduate trainee with Michael Page and has since built extensive experience across recruitment and talent identification. Kirsty has worked with globally recognised organisations including Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, and A&O Shearman, where she led graduate, international, and investment banking recruitment activities.
Her background in executive search and international recruitment provides valuable insight into candidate assessment, market intelligence, and recruitment best practice - enabling her to support both clients and candidates through a professional, consultative, and relationship-focused approach.
